A place to have lavish meals

If you ever mentioned this restaurant to any HK friend, they would call u a rich bastard! Coz most of them have not even had any meal there. Why? Coz it's expensive!

I have had lunch there once, had their so called deliciously well known goose. Well, I can tell you they are not that nice actually. But you have the glam when you tell your friends you tried them before.
You do not have to go in to know they are pricey, it has got "thriftless" spelled out all over! Look at the entrance, so grand and extravagant!
Dead ducks, dead gooses, dead chickens...
Hahahaha, look tastey, but you get better value for money elsewhere.
My advice, spend me lunch or dinner, I can bring you to better places at lower prices.

Why perform when you can get more from "Staff Retention Scheme"!

Do you feel stupid when you are the one performing better when others reap the fruit?!

Think about it, others need 4.2 manday to get one machine up while you could get the machine up with just 1.2 manday, and yet, you remain in your same old stupid position!

Why perform? Just tender your resignation and wait for your bonus to come every month! How? Easy, just wait for your company to counter offer you!

Let's calculate, let say you expect 30-50% more for the next job, when the counter offer comes in, wouldn't that be at least 50% more than your current salary?! Do you still need to perform and wait for the relatively mediocre annual bonus when others are getting their bonus every month?!

Trust me, just tender your resignation, it works twice within a year. Maybe you could make it work 3 times a year!

Iced Lemon Tea

Do you know what this is? Yep, iced lemon tea! The favorite drink for people in HK!

Do you think it is that simple to drink this? Nope, if you did not get it right, you are not going to like it!

The first time I was there, I ordered one and it was bad! Tea and lemon DO NOT go well at all! If you DO NOT follow the procedures below, you will never like it, trust me!

1. When you got your drink, DO NOT get overly excited and start drinking!
2. Move the lemon slices below the glass with the straw or spoon.
3. Place them almost flat below the glass so that you could poke at them easily later.
4. You could either:
a. press the tip of the straw and start poking at the lemon slices. (personal preference!)
b. use the spoon and start poking at the lemon slices.
5. Make sure you poke until most if not all of the lemon flesh is detached from the skin.
6. Stir hard so that the lemon juice mixes well with the tea.
7. Start to taste a bit of your drink to see if your poking is enough or not. If not, repeat above.

Trust me, once you got the procedures right, you would LOVE it!

Sweet, sing to me...

Looking at the pictures below, you might have the impression on me being one of those old folks who likes to see scantily clad stage girls. Well, they are not your run of the mill singers, their CDs are well recorded and catered to the audiophiles out there.

Chen Jie Li

She is the more girlish of the two, with sweet and cute facial expressions! You just have to see her in person, the pictures are not even half as good in showing how cute she is! Her voice, omigod, is able to sooth your worn out soul!

Ma Xiao Qian

Being the prettier among the two, I have preference over her actually. But then, she is not as friendly as Chen Jie Li. She is petite though!

Me and Ma Xiao Qian

Finally, a seal of approval - Endorsed by Leslie

Yesterday was a happy day for me as 2 friends visited me to listen to my simple setup. Ping Onn and Leslie were there in Puchong early on while I was stucked with the boss in the meeting room.

Anyway, Ping Onn wants to know how a setup would sound in a small room. Well, among all the audiophiles, I guess I have one of the smallest room! Leslie can be called my sifu in my audio journey as he has guided me well and exposed me to setups that I could never dream of having a chance to listen to.

Just listen to Leslie's setup would bring you cloud nine with the to-die-for tonality and musicality! Well, as you would have guessed, I, like Leslie, believe that tonality is the utmost trait in any setup! What good it makes if the setup has great soundstage but the instruments are sounding weird?

You know what seperates the men from the boys? Experience and skills! Leslie was able to elevate the performance of my setup with just one suggestion! You call this luck?! No way! I was shocked, really, to have had such great potential in front of me, but never to be able to fully tap on it!

By just moving the Shun Mook down, slightly higher than my speaker height and in the middle, I was surprised to find the focus, outline and delineation of the image could be so sharp and precise! Everything just pops out in life!

Leslie, you are the man!

I am happy if I am able to let my wife... #1

... walk into an LV Shop and tell the sales: "This, this and this, I don't want. The rest, please pack them up for me."

=)

The contents below might offend certain viewers and cause unnecessary nausea - Cum on face

Hi all, if you feel offended by just reading the title above, I urge you to stop now. Oh, if you stop now, please do not be judgemental over my personality as the truth would hit you hard on the face.

The other day, I was watching a documentary, sort of, about prostitutes. There were many interviews from people within the industry, an industry to fulfill the crudest need of mankind. Yeah, it's a dirty topic, something that people is afraid to talk about in public. Something that you would hope to shut it away just like shutting the door of your messy storeroom.

Anyway, there were a lot of insight within the industry and one thing that struck me real hard was about cumming on face. Yeah admit it, many watched Jap porno and loved it! What they do most is to cum on face or body.

Do you know that if your eyes get in contact with semen of someone who is HIV positive, you'll get infected as well?

Love? Music? Love = Music? Music = Love?

Love? Can it be seen? Can it be touched? Can it be felt?

Do you only need to hear it?

Yes, you can say it all day! But does it make any sense to just listen to it but not touched by it?

Verbal reaffirmation is something thought to be important but otherwise. You can't feel the love hence the need for love in words.

Someone in love needs to love to feel in love, without a loving heart, how do you know you are in love? If only words can make you feel in love, the love to me, is not deep enough!

This applies to music as well, the emotion, the love, the passion should be felt and be touched by it.

Yes, you can have charming and sweet lyrics but that would not cut it...

Sweet, sing to me and cure my worn out tired soul.

Something nice to SMS to your loved ones

Red

I am those kinda guys who would easily get red when I have a drink or two. I dunno whether it's good or not as some would say it shows good blood circulation; some would say no good as it shows how bad a drinker you are.

Who cares anyway when you are having a good time with your buddies and enjoy a glass or two. If you drink a lot, OZ is the place for you as it was very cheap there. I knew a guy who has nothing but beers in the fridge, and he drinks only that.

Anyway, there was this girl who kept on looking towards our table, boy, was she cute! Yeah yeah, I was looking at her all the time as well, but just could not get the chance of smiling at her as I was too shy to even react to it.

Anyway, I was just curious on what would a girl think when she sees a guy? For guys, we would normally think:
a. Is she attached? Hopefully not.
b. Is she interested in being a friend?
c. Would Siebel work in MEGA Datacentre?
d. Hopefully SAT is not going to screw up the setup again!

Oh shit, no wonder I never get the girls, my thoughts would stray back to work. work and work!

Gee, I need a break!

Blue... orange?

I am glowing and all out hot blooded, now what?

Blue...

Isn't this very much like us? We are glowing within ourselves, full of passion and infatuation. Yet, there is this cold darkness seperating us, we could not see what's over the other end. Hence, we keep still at what we are most comfortable with. Stagnant... always.

What's worse is we shy ourselves out, keeping all the affection within and amour ourselves up from the rest of the world! I guess we should just open up and discover. Who knows, you would find one just in front of you glowing with the same adoration!

Hmmm...

Why so mean to the wives out there?

Have you heard of this?

What's the difference between your indo/filipino maid and your wife?

Your maid only dares to get mad when you are out, your wive will get mad the moment you get in to the house.

This is so mean!

I don't think they'll be mad if you pamper them with plenty of love, ops, love is something before marriage. Pamper them with LV, Gucci or Fendi!

新記 = nice thing to eat?

The second 新記 I like is located in 銅鑼灣, actually I should not call this the second 新記 as I discovered this place long ago. In fact, 1 or 2 years earlier than the 新記 in 尖沙嘴.
Anyway, what do you get from the order form above?
This?
This?
Or this? Ha, this is mine actually. Mine comes with 牛丸, 生腸, 炸魚皮, 魷魚, 鹵水鴨腎... + 清湯瀨粉.

I have to thanks those who stopped eating to let me take pictures of their orders.

新記 again on my last day in HK

This was the first dish I tried on my first time here, red sausage + fried egg + instant noodle + cheese topping! Oh my god, love at first sight! Ops, should be love at first taste!

Highly recommended!
Well, you should know this one as well. Pig neck + instant noodel + cheese topping!

This is the untouched form, the last shown was halfway finished.

Must try!

Oh, before I forget, 廣東燒味 has got one of the best BBQ pig neck. They call it 豬青 in HK, dun forget OK?

Mido in Temple Street

This is where PTU is shot. The old style coffee shop of HK, almost seeing the ups and downs of Temple Street.
This is the menu, look in between the 2 red menus, it's a no picture sign!

So, I was risking my life to show you guys this.
This is what I ordered, baked pork ribs rice. According to the menu and the auntie taking our orders, it's a 50 years old recipe! Well, for something done the same way for 50 years, who am I to question it?!

The ribs are juicy, with sweet crispy outer crust. The rice is fried with scrambled egg prior to being baked to goldish color.

I tried another old dish the last time I was here, wanton with sweet and sour sauce, it was a huge portion enough for 2! Quite nice!

What's best is the atmosphere, the oldie HK style!

Nice 叉燒燒鵝飯

This is the place I found I guess around the second time I was in HK. If you go out from 尖沙嘴站九龍公園出口, give it a 180 degree turn towards your right into 海防道, walk straight and take the second turn to your left. Go straight until you reach about the middle of the street, the shop is on your right hand side.

The BBQ pork and BBQ swan (corrected by Leslie to be goose, sorry as I was doing some direct translation) is good stuff! The goose skin is silky smooth and the meat done just about rite. The BBQ pork has the correct portion of meat and fat, not too oily and not too hard.

Toothsome and succulent!

Oh, just checked, the name of the shop is 廣東燒味.

Mr. and Mrs. Say

This is my other Sifu, we normally call him Say. The girl next to him enjoying her food is soon to be Mrs. Say. Wanna know what she's eating?
These are the stuff! Great stuff! This restaurant is located around Sheung Wan. It is one of those old ones that you hardly find in HK anymore.

Don't look for fast service though, like the restaurant, the staff here are antiques too.

Oh, before I forget, if you go out of the restaurant, give it a 180 degree turn towards your left. Walk uphill and take a right turn, there is a shop called 九記牛腩. That's the best place for beef noodles.

I went there a couple of times, and only on the third time I got the chance of tasting their beef noodle! It was recommended by 吳君如!

LV HK

I have always liked the LV monogram, so simple, yet lasting over the generations.

What's more fulfulling than when you are capable of buying an LV purse for your loved one? For guys, you could buy only a few items like key chains, wallets and pouches for your handphones. For girls, the stuff to buy is too exhaustive to even be listed here.

Guys, work harder!

No more gloomy... food... and bed...

Remember I said I wanted to take picture from 新記? Yes, after 36 hours!

The picture you saw above is BBQ pig neck instant noodle with cream cheese topping! Oh my god, the pork is so juicy within. The surface is sweet and toothsome.

Is this life or what?

36 hours...

Spent my nite over MEGA Datacentre, though this is the third time, it's the longest so far.

The previous 2 nites were only 24 hours.

Let me show you how it's like...
View from the toilet on touch down.
3am, I guess.
3pm, I guess.

When you have spent such long hour in one contained area, you feel numb and detached.

Would the impact on ground wake me up?

Nice places to jump...

From Albert's apartment?
Or from AO Sommersat House?

Is this the life I wanted?

This is what I see the first thing I stepped out of the MEGA Datacentre.

Though the rising sun gives hopes and energy, I do not even feel the slightest warmth within me. I feel the job has robbed me off too much.

Is this really the life I wanted?

My Sifu's wedding

This is the picture taken in Peninsula Hotel Hong Kong.

The moment of your life! My sifu's life... at stake! Hahahaha...

Sigh... forgot to take pictures of the dishes!!!

The Man in charge

This is the MAN in charge!

You'll be surprised to see many celebrities around, just look behind and see who's behind eating.

Jordan Chan was here, Leo Ku was here and of course, KC was here!

My favorite DJ's favorite spot - TST 新記

The topic is not about these 2 girls you see in the picture, it is the shop behind them.

What is so special about it? For one, it's opened by one of the HK soap series actors. But most importantly, it's my favorite DJ's favorite spot!

This shop is located in 尖沙嘴, walk along Nathan Road, just when you see Miramar Hotel, turn into Kimberly Road. Turn on your first right, walk straight and you could see the shop on your left.

You just have to try their cream cheese instant noodle! They are so delicious, smooth, creamy, tasty, gratifying, tantalizing! You just have to try them!

Will try to get a picture for you guys!

My new racket - Wilson nTour 95

Is this racket cool or what?!

After stopping for 10 years, I decided to return to the courts!

Weeks and weeks were spent on deciding on my new racket to return to the courts. Inititally it was the Prince O3 Red, a very futuristic stick with big grommetless holes for the string. Tried it on court and felt good about the racket.

Then I watched the French Open and Wimbledon, noticed this player by the name of Justine Henin Hardenne. She played with heavy topspin on both wings, and was using single-handed backhand rather than double-handed. Looking at her applying the sheer amount of spin on the balls really took my breath away! Of course she won!

Then came Wimbledon, and saw Lindsay Davenport using the same racket as Henin Hardenne. Lindsay was totally a different player, the strokes, though lack explosiveness, were spot on and consistent. She played a much simpler game with only topspin, no slice no touch. Seeing her playing against Venus was hard for me as she was giving critical match points away! Anyway, she got runner-up for Wimbledon.

So I guess it was good statistics for the racket as the pros are enjoying it big time. Went to the shop and got it without even trying it! By just looking at the racket itself makes me horny, the slim beam, sleak cutting and the sexy orange yell sex appeal all over! I got all hot and added a white overgrip, SEX-Y!

I'm Loving It!

Why do they need to make it hard for us?!

Have you ever been into a difficult situation and was struggling for weeks before coming to a decision? Was it hard for you weighing all the pros and cons? And finally you saw the light and plunge for a decision!

Deciding on giving up my resident status in OZ and staying back in M'sia was really hard for me, but I finally decided to stay. Then my mum called and questioned my decision, saying things like "Are you sure you do not want to go back?", "Don't you wanna do your Masters there?" blah blah blah...

I started to lose my temper and yelled, I was going thru all the struggles within for weeks. As you can imagine, the conversation ended quite unhappily!

I just do not understand why they always wanna make things difficult for us?! Can't I decide for myself and bear the consequnces myself? Or you wanna decide for me and let me hate you for the rest of your life?!
