Today no happy!
How could they do this?! IT without full net access?
Mana can, OK? You expect a bunch of techies sitting there with no YM or MSN access? How can? Mana can? Where can? Can meh?
They killed the super proxy! No more!
From what I heard from the security team, people over HK is doing audit on that proxy. But I bo chap, I am just going to risk all I have for that mere YM and MSN access!
No YM and MSN means I am socially deprived!

God, pls bless me with good sound!
Early morning today hor, I woke up and couldn't believe I was still getting bad sound after a great suffering week from the arrival of my great AQ DBS Cheetah.
OK, I have had enough. I ain't gonna sit there doing nothing! So I drove to the temple I always pray in.
The aunty in white was earlier than me! I think she was asking for her daughter's marriage or something, or might be her own marriage. It's good to 8 sometimes.
So many offerings, sure kau tim lar this time! Popi popi oh, please give me good electricity to get good sound oh!
Then I went Tin Hou temple to do some fortune telling also. See if my birthday chong with my Cheetah's arrival day or something. A great whole week of suffering is enough for me lor.
Arrive there only realise got Kuan Yin statues exhibition lor. All very nice one leh! I guess like more than 30 statues were there on show, wah, how to miss a chance like that?! So I went ask for popi 30 over times lor. This time sure sure sure x 30 times kau tim lar!
Oh, back to the reading, it says All Roads Lead to Rome. The content reads like this:

Wah, I tell you, 4D also not so accurate ar! The moment I reached home, I was hit with the revelation that I replaced a multiplug moments before my Cheetah's arrival. So I removed it, upon close inspection, the pins were dark and aged!
Got that replaced promptly and played some tune again. OMFG, my sound returned! The fluidity, richness and vibrancy all came back and cherished with improvements! Man, if only I prayed frequently!
That proves me right again! If all else fails, PRAY! PRAY HARD!

My happy weekend part II
Me in orange going to the new Cathay cineplex next to The Curve. Not my face oily OK? The light effects lar.
Ticket counters like usual.
Popcorn area.
Billboards area.
Preview Lounge, nicely done inside, but not open.
Have to walk up one level to go to the cineplexes.
Right side got waiting area.
Left side also got waiting area. Can buy popcorn if forgot to buy downstairs.
The lights are too dim to even notice which hall is ready for seating lor.
Seats are OK but the arm rests are a bit awkward lor. Not as spacious and comfi as GSC 1U. But the sound system is good with great front to back transistion, soundfield integration is as seamless as I have heard. This is a small hall, with performance like this, just imagine how the big hall would sound?! Must go watch movie screening in big halls next time!
Actual props leh, scary leh. But the movie carries some messages to us lor. Not just plain silly scaring the shit out of you kinda ghost movie lor, although there are some scenes which scare the shit out of you. Scary parts are nicely done actually.
Some weird things happened actually lor, I did take some photos of the toilet lor. But somehow, I could not find them lor, RECYCLED?!?! OMG!
Anyway, the ending is a bit weird lor. Even if they are laying plots for a sequel also no need lidat mar. Worth a watch to support our local gem, Li Xin Jie!

Yep, went to Doulos bookfair. Still remembered the last time I was up there was when it stopped at Penang. That was ages ago and I remembered the ship was larger than this leh! Maybe I was still little back then lar.
Inside the ship, I looked in the middle.

Looked to the left. What's making those sweet music leh?
Then I looked up! Wah, the ship was equipped with many of this Infinity speakers! Guessed they were super seasoned with all the heat, moist and salty sea breeze. Damn, and they still make superb music! I guess LS3/5a can throw to the sea lar, people like that also can make super music!
Feeling macho, I popped up the hood to have a peep and was greeted with a mean engine older than I am! What a work horse! OK lar, the hood was open already one, if the ship cannot move after this, don't come and look for me.

Went to watch Re-Cycle over the weekend in the new cineplex next to the Curve. It was kinda fun day off for me except towards the end when I met up with an old acquaintance. Not that he's old, I think he's my age or slightly older. Tiu, who cares?!
He used to be one of the reveiwers I enjoyed reading back in the good old Audiophile years. Although his rigs are nothing to shout about, at least we know what's he talking about. Unlike another reviewer of the same press who would always try to drown you in his he-thinks-he-is-funny-with-all-silly-babblings which no one has basically any idea of WTF he is talking about!
OKOK, back to the topic, when I started to form my own fundamentals and beliefs in audio, I started to doubt their listening experience. So I always try to avoid speaking about audio whenever I bump into them. Nia ma, it was you who asked me about how my setup is now and I answered.
When I told you I just got my AQ Cheetah interconnects, you fuckin' tell me that you preferred to buy more music?! Hey, what does that mean? You mean I am stupid spending those silly money to get something that has so little perceived values?!
Tiu, if you like music so much, you owe it to yourself to listen to them in their full glory! Tiu, you think I never buy music ar?! The music I buy ar, your setup won't even reproduce them properly!
KNN, people won't see you no up if you frankly admit to the fact that those things are expensive. In fact, I never did, I too have to work on my constraints to acquire what I wanted. I was not born with silver or gold spoon lar, all these stuff I buy them with my hard earned cash, not a single cent from my parents, OK!

China Boleh!
The last major championship they won was Australian Open. Now they won the Wimbledon!
Woohoo, the duo is really making waves in the tennis games being the first Chinese pair to really score big in this foreign game of tennis.
I tell you ar, their games were great, crisp and powerful groundstrokes! However, they really need to work on their serves, no power leh!
And WTF, why an offside?! Or else, Italy would have won!!!
Oh, Italians have got short legs and short, always outrun by Frenchmen one!!!

Henin oh Henin... why?!
She played admirably over the first set, taking it 6-2 agaisnt Mauresmo. If there was ever a female Federer, she would be the closest, period!
It was fun to just watch her swayed her way thru the first set, playing confidently and gracefully. Her ground strokes were just as technically perfect as can be, though, I still preferred to watch her play clay courts. That's her best and she's the babe, ops, the queen on clay!
Blardy hell, dunno why after the first set, she went down straight, loosing her ground strokes and played many unforced errors! How could that be?! She could have just played as usual and took the sets easily! Man, watching her played like that was so unbearable and painful!
I bought my nTour 95 just because of her, she used that racket to conquer French Open in 2005! Darn, and I was thinking of getting the MKII she's using now to celebrate her I-thought-soon-to-be-victory-Wimbledon-title. My oh my, how could that be?!
Well, better still, I don't have to buy an nTour 95 MKII!

Wah, hot leh!
Damn, it's summer in HK now and they barely get any sunshine due to erratic weather! They have been getting rainfalls now and then until it greatly affected the sales of summer fashion.
And in MY, it's so friggin' hot! I have been reading 31 degrees in my audio room very frequently! No rain! How can that be? Yesterday it rained for a while but that doesn't help!
WTF, the weather is erratic, the electricity is erratic, until today, I am still not confident in giving any comments on my AQ Cheetah as the sound is so inconsistent! With the upgrade to Cheetah, my setup is ever so sensitive to electricity! Argghghghgh...
God, pls give me rain and good electricity!

I wish I could feel for someone...
For the past 1 week, I have not been eating well and sleeping well.
You know the feeling of worries on someone you cared and loved? You are worried that something might have gone wrong and some bad things juz happened?
The feeling is so surreal and vivid that you put it up above all else, even above your well being. You just want everything to be OK and like normal.
And it's silly that the feelings is on a pair of cables that I ordered from US!
Man, can I have such feeling for someone?!
Or can anyone let me care for you!?
Whatever, my cables are here and I am happy again!
