King Kong, you shrunk my balls!

Went to watch King Kong with my mum and lil' sis, what can I say, a great movie indeed!

Towards the end where the fighter planes went after King Kong, I could not find my balls anymore. Why, coz I am AFRAID of height!

I can't stop worrying that Naomi might fall off the building! Hey, never shoot in such high places anymore!

The other day, me and my mum and my sister went watching Hairy Harry Potter, it was kinda slow to my taste actually.

Anyway, the above sets the prelude to this blog. Why?

Coz my sister digged a lot of my DVDs collection and started blasting my home theater system. Eh, hopefully she didn't dig the wrong collection. Maybe she had, and put them back in. I dunno.

So my mum asked, "eh, how come your setup sounds better than the cinema? Some more we were in the THX certified hall."

Me, "eh, coz I am using a full Onkyo setup mar."

Mum, "eh, you mean anything Onkyo sounds this good?"

Me, "eh, no, coz I am using full AudioQuest cables mar."

Mum, "oh, you mean anything bad sounding can sound good with AudioQuest cables?"

Me, "eh, no! Of course not!"

Mum, "eh, then must be Onkyo plus AudioQuest only can get good sound ar?"

Me, "nooooooooooooooo, what I mean is there should be good fundamental equipments and good cables to let it perform. Synergy, get it?"

Mum, "eh, then how come you still need the thick power cable behind?"

Me, "oh, that's my PS Audio Prelude, just to scare people only lar. But then hor, seems it improves on my Sony TV and Astro, so I guess it helps also."

Mum, "oh, must have thick power cables also lar?"

Me, "I guess so."

Mum, "how come your stereo uses silver color cable and purple color cable one?"

Me, "ah, that's my Stealth and Harmonic Tech."

Mum, "how come you don't use Onkyo or AudioQuest there?"

Me, "eh... can I explain some other time?"

I had a flat today, since it's the front wheel, I carried on riding with the front wheel elevated from the road with only the back wheel on the road. See how good a rider I am?

Then I found the tank was almost empty, since I like to take chance in life and like to live a dangerous life, I carried on riding with an almost empty tank. See how dangerous I am?

Anyway, I did all these because there was a production issue. You mean you forgot I am a very important person to the bank that they rely solely on me to make sure the system is stable and sound to enable the frontliners to serve the customers in a prompt manner?

When I arrived in the office, the tank almost dried and the tyre went all out flat. Went up and solved the production issue and dragged until after lunch before I got my bike fixed.

I went to the repair shop without filling up first and was praying thru out the whole journey, but I totally forgot to fill up even though there was a petrol kiosk very nearby.

Well, the consequence of living a dangerous life? The bike would not move halfway back to office, damn, a high-flyer like me have to push bike meh? What to do? Push lor.

Then came this young Malay biker who asked what's wrong? Told him my tank went empty and thought "gee, still got so helpful people meh?" Got woh!

He pushed my bike with his left leg while riding his bike and we travelled till the nearest petrol kiosk! As I turned into the petrol kiosk, he carried on his journey.

No money asked! Nothing! I did not even get a chance to thank him!

See, Malaysia is still a nice place to live in although sometimes you might have to do nude squat.

Guess what? The description of the problem was "EQ"! And somemore I was quoted as "Important Client Type". Is this how you treat your IMPORTANT client?

Since when I smashed your windscreen?

Since when I deliberately formated your machine?

Since when I cursed at you?

The last I checked I was a polite person with decent personality and normal IQ, how come you say I have EQ problem?

No way, close the ticket! Or else I will shout my curses at you while I puncture your tyre and smash your windscreen, and later you will find your PC being formatted without your knowledge!

It has been a long while since the last time I see any non-conformist act. Especially in M'sia, everyone was like the daddy's boys or mum's daughters, very unlike the teenagers from down under!

Those days in OZ, I wore nothing but my rollerblades, disregard of where I was. Heck, you don't like it, I'll walk bare footed. Oh, I didn't bring any swimming wears, so? I'll swim naked lar!

No one cared! No have the strange look on the passers by. Freedom comes without any string attached, well, if within the boundary of rightful law lar!

So, when I saw this girl sitting with both legs crossed, I could not help but to take her photo! And it was taken in Madam Kwan, a mid-level restaurant located within Mid Valley.

Meat Market

We had our bank celebration the other day in a pub and everyone was sky high!

It was a meat market out there, but hor, I am herbivore.

How come no carnivore female one? You know lar, in Discovery Channel or National Geographic Channel, the carnivores normally prey on herbivores one mar.

Anyway, towards the end of the party, we drank by jugs, not even mugs anymore. With the help of some alchohol, I went center stage and had my table top dance!

Everyone followed after me, nice being the trendsetter!

It's funny how the English arrange their names and how much they differ from ours. For last name, it means our surname or family name. For first name, it means our given name. We, Chinese, take great pride in our family name and would not bring disgrace to our family name. Maybe that explains the more individualistic whites while the Chinese are more easily intimidated.

Anyway, whenever they see my name, they would call me Wong Kok, whom I am not!

OK OK, I like HK and I don't mind being called MK仔! But you are calling me name, not nickname, so please be precise. We took effort in learning your way of name arrangement, so please show the same respect to us as well. OK?

My maiden visit to DFP

各位,我已經唔係青頭仔啦!


So high up and bright, can my career sustain its glow and momentum? I wish I could tell. Just like what Guan told me, if you keep on perfecting yourself and keeping up in pace, there is no way you could loose your grip on your career.

I wish I could tell it in full confidence and pride, but at 26, I am really not that sure! Things just happen so fast and rapid, just when I try to grasp on what's going on, it's already a thing in the past.

You know the feelings, like when everything is so good and generous, you just could not help to succumb to the thought that it might be your worst nightmare the day after tomorrow!

I wish I could grab on and keep up, but life just won't wait for you! You have no time to ease up and enjoy the view. I have no idea at all on what's gonna greet me just around the corner!

Alrite, cut the crap. Must be the pot! Just get in the venue, would cha?!


OK, surprised?! How I manage to get a picture? Well, just have thick skin and act as if you do not know you cannot take pictures in the venue. Just after I got the shot, I was asked to switch off my mobile.

Anyway, I didn't as I was expecting a long distance call from HK. Hehehe...

Oh, I did answer the call halfway and went out. Don't they know that there are important people like me who would just have to receive calls as the whole banking business rely on my expertise to ensure the health level of the application to serve the customers in prompt and responsive manner?

Sorry, I am just not your normal conformist. I have my job to keep in order to earn enough every month so that I got dough left to buy tickets to your performance where you could make some money to sustain your staff who act as if they are oh-so-cultured with the suits and stuff.


Oh, the performance was a great one! But I still could not get the idea of having a piono duo when both of them were playing the same key and notes. But the singing was definitely good! Very strong and powerful!

After attending this event, my perception changed on live music! And the product of this is the depletion of my respect to most of the big mouth audiophiles out there who bring such bad reputation and names to us the few more superior and priviledged gold ears.

Hahahaha, cannot stand ar? I have every intention to make this known to anyone who is reading this and hopefully would spread the words out! How could you guys talk so much cock about the mids, scalling and finesse of your setups when your setups could not even portray the slightest harmonic richness of the piano? It takes full range to get this lar stupid, mids is not all of it lar stupid!

Anyway, I am a sucker for autographs, I cannot help but to get autographs from anyone whom I respect and hold high regards on! Yeah, call me stupid also, I don't care!

Bike riding years nearing an end... #2

For years, I asked myself, do you really need a car? Is it still OK to ride a bike for so long after you could afford a car? For so long after you have gotten yourself cars?

Well, I just could not stop riding a bike! For the wellbeing of our society, for Vision 2020, for the financial health of the parents around me, I just could not stop riding a bike!

You see, kids nowadays do not know the hard and cruel reality that earning money is not easy! See how many of them kids have Gameboy Advance, PSP and those cool MP3 players? All those cost marnie!

They just know that there are machines you put your cards in them, press some numbers and you get marnie from it. Oh, if the machines doesn't work, you always have cards in gold or platinum color where you just give to the cashiers and draw some tortoise, then you get the stuff you wanted to buy. As simple as that!

Oh, it is a norm to the kids that parents go missing from early morning till late at nite every working day. They never know how the parents work till their guts out just to get a better life for the kids! Hey, maybe the kids think it's cool to be adults as they can go out all day long while they have to stay at home!

Parents need role model to let their kids learn from. Who else is better than me? Now the mums can point to me and say to the kids, "see the cute guy on the bike? If you keep on spending and not study hard, you will end up like him riding a bike!"

Or they could say during rainy days, "see that sexy guy with the wet white t-shirt clinging to his well built body as if he wears nothing? If you don't study hard, you will end up like him riding a bike under the rain!"

Or in the evening after fetching their kids from tuition classes or tennis lessons, "see that macho guy with the short showing his tighs covered with dark and shiny hair? If you don't study/learn hard, you will end up like him riding against the strong and cold wind while still wearing that wet t-shirt!"

So, you tell me, how can I stop riding a bike? If riding a bike could help the progress of our country, how could I stop riding a bike?!

Next time ar, if you do Siebel or plan to hire me to do Siebel ar, pls make sure your servers have big big big or many many many big big big processors, and many many many memory! Wah lau eh, so slow to import one project!

See the long white patch? That's the indication of the Siebel tool got overly taxed and me being the victim of it! Wah, so swuei, sit here do nothing but wait for it to get back normal! Should buy PSP lar!

Then hor, you see the stupid Siebel tool? Taking so much memory one! Almost 250MB leh, so little piece of software use so much memory! Wah, the people in Siebel must be having puny brains, is this their way of boosting their puny ego?! See how SONY build their PSP so small?

Then hor, the server has got 1.5GHz processor and 2GB of RAM. Still not enough meh? You see the PSP hor, got little processor and little memory, but hor, 1GB is enough to store Burnout and Virtua Tennis leh, and they make noise also! Buy a PSP also better than using it lar!

Maybe the people in SONY can make Siebel run faster, or hey, maybe the PSP can do Siebel migration faster!

The other day when I was in 1U, I saw this really cool Valentino shoes. A pair of leather shoes. Very nice one leh!

I tried and tried and pose and pose and stand and turn in front of the mirror, so nice one leh. Then hor, my brother said, have you checked the boxes in our dressing room?

Dang, I still got so many pair of shoes!

In life hor, many things also we want one. But then hor, how many is enough and how many times we actually utilise them all?

Are we spoilt by choices or is life getting easier?

In Dreams Begins Responsibility...

Sometimes, you get excited and just wanna make the plunge, believing that you could fly rather than fall. Just a reason, be it love, be it religion, or your dreams.

You know the feeling, the feeling of "I believe I can fly." In this case, I believe I can walk on fire. I have done this a couple of times, and it was a mixed feeling. You have many animals inside you, but once it's over, you just could not get enough of it.

This is my dream house! The reason I have been working so hard for! When I move into my little apartment 2 years ago, I said to myself, I have to work hard for something better in life. I have to get a better home, so that when my parents/grand parents/sister is here, they have a nice place to take shelter in. A place where I can have my own room.

When you imagine having your own room all by yourself, the warm and cozy feeling just sets in. I have been browsing the IKEA catalogue over and over again to see which furniture fits my room well.

Oh man, this is dream, and dream is where the responsibility begins. Dream is not something you drool over and do nothing about it. Dream is what drives you to be a better person. Dream is why I have lived and keep on striving for better!

Dream is what makes you believe you could fly and really strive to make it happen!

Twin Happiness

Indians has always fascinated me with their colorful culture, singing, people rolling down the hills, dancers appearing out of nowhere, and those exaggerated punching sound. Oh, Indian food is superb, too!

Anyway, I was attending Jitu's boy's praying ceremony and there was this wedding ceremony happening in the temple as well. How joyous!








Jitu has got his second child, a boy! But I forgot to take Jitu's boy's pictures as I was busy playing with Jitu's daughter, how cute!




Towards, the end of the ceremony, I received a call from OZ. It was from Fook Foo actually, a good fren and someone I felt I betrayed. We applied PR together and got it the same time.

Back then, we have dreams of staying in OZ and have a good time there. In the last minute, I gave up as I could not see my path there, I could not dare myself taking the risk of becoming jobless and have to live on my parents' support.

Anyway, that was another long story altogether. He called to invite me to his wedding, I was surprised! But deep down, I admire his courage in returning to OZ and now starting his own family!

Ahhh, I am just happy to see all my friends starting to realise their dreams and life is treating them well!

I love attending talk sessions that were given by all the visiting authors, there were so much wisdom to be shared and so much to be learnt.

I can't basically live others' life, but I surely can learn from them.

This is really cool, the latest trick I learnt is "Why? Why not?"

Why?
"Why?" is the time you learn and accumulate your knowledge and experience. This is the time you learn what others have proven in text books and in school. This is not the time you challenge the facts, but more like forming your logic thinking and reasoning.

Why not?
This is the time after you have finished your schooling years and started to form your own opinions. This is when you try to ask a lot of "Why not?" and discover your own way of living and personality. The more wisdom you have, the more qualified you are to do so.



I am trying to find the guy who flashed his camera and spoilt my piture! Why you flashed your camera? Why not wait after I have finished my turn?
