I have been cheated

For us music lovers, there's nothing more worthy than buying the CDs you enjoy most.

Whenever I go HK or SG, there's nothing better than getting heaps of CDs and hold on to them until I get back home and immerse myself in those lovely melodies.

In HK or SG, there's one pressing where by there is a round holographic sticker on the CDs. My best guess is that they are from mainland, let's just forget about their authenticity, they are actually quite good in quality.

Many of the audiophile CDs from mainland Chinese singers come with those sticker. And many of the pop CDs from Taiwan or HK singers come in those stickers albeit in slightly different covers/packagings.

So, when I saw some of the mainland Chinese CD peddlers selling some CDs around the place I was having dinner, I could not help but to call them to show me what they have got. RM8 a piece is really a steal! I bought 3 pieces in one shot and could not wait till I get back home.

I opened the first one and poped it in to the car player. Shit! I could not believe that it could be this bad! Geee, it just does not make sense at all! If they could get the covers to be so nicely done, why don't they make the recording to acceptable quality?!

Well, the remaining 2 CDs went into the dust bin as I could not bear with them! At least one of them is still OK.

The morale of the story, if it is too cheap to be true, there is no way it could be real! Please keep this a secret as I would be the joke of our local audio scene.
