Yesterday, I decided to ask one of my friends about our MPO. I was confused coz MPO and DFP have got the same brochures but still they put 2 sets on the website. So I asked the difference lor.

He started to answer: "Ha? You mean you dunno ar?"

Then I know it's going to be a boastful conversation from him. He ended up telling me he has been to the corporate rooms lar, the in-house seats lar, blar blar blar...

What's the point lar? I asked because I dunno mar. Do you really enjoy intimidating people meh? How to keep friends like this wor?

This is my loudspeaker, ProAc Tablette Reference 8, they are selling at RM4K a pair. See the blue tail coming out from behind? That's my speaker cables, AudioQuest DBS Mont Blanc, RM6.8K a pair. There are also 2 pairs of 2-inch jumper cables behind, AudioQuest Volcano selling at RM1.3K.


See the RCA interconnects? It's the AudioQuest DBS Panther connecting my pre amp to my power amp, selling at RM2.8K a pair.


Another pair of AudioQuest DBS Panther for RM2.8K connecting my CDP to my pre amp.


See the silver power cord? That's for my pre amp, Stealth Cloude Nine Full AC selling at RM3K a piece. See the other power cord connecting to the black box from the right? That's Harmonic Tech Fantasy selling at RM1.4K a piece. Oh, the black box? It's called the Richard Gray Power Company RGPC400MKII, a mouthful eh? RM2.7K for that!


My power amp on top and pre amp below. Audio Research Classic 60 power amp selling at USD3295 and Audio Research LS8 pre amp selling at USD1495. So what if I got them secondhand?!

Bike riding years nearing an end... #1

Let see, I have been riding bike since college year, around 1997. Back then, it was only for me to go eat and visit my aunt in SS2. I was basically an idiot in KL road direction, I didn't ride to the city not until towards the end of 1997.

Anyway, I have learnt many things from my bike riding years.

I like to live my life dangerously:

Me: Do you ride a bike?

FD: Not in S'pore, but I have a bike in California. It's like XXXcc, a huge one.

Me: Cool! You ride alot?

FD: Yeah, it was cool to ride in California, along the coast line.

Me: Wah, I can imagine that, with leather jacket and stuff.

FD: Yeah, don't you have a jacket or stuff like that? It protects you!

Me: Really? Like how?

FD: I had an accident once, broke my ribs. But nothing major outside. The jacket got me very well protected.

Me: Really? That's cool. I don't have a jacket when I ride. That's how I got my scars on both hands, they used to be silky smooth.

FD: You ought to have a jacket then!

Me: Well, I like to live my life dangerously!

FD: ...

We are always disturbed by what we could do for her, without realising that what you would not do to her matter most! Let her free to explore and complete her dreams, love is not just about clinging on to each other until both suffocated.

Yes, without her, breathing is just part of life; too much of her, you are taking her life. Love is not just about blaming her job and fighting for time with her. My flair lady...

I was having my dinner tonite and was awed when a lady in her late 20s/early 30s just sat in front of me. A girl in her late 20s/early 30s is hardly a lady yet, but she has got this flair and composure that was so graceful.

Now, what's the catch? I have not been so lucky for long, NO WAIT, I never have been lucky at all. It was kinda awkward and unnatural for me, I just kept my head down while sipping my drink.

People were looking at me, they must have been thinking why is this lady ended up with such sloppy and slouch guy? Yeah, I wish, but hey, she's not with me.

My food came, just as I was going to eat, she talked to me. Asking what was I eating, well, she ain't blind coz I was eating something no one would eat. Not that something gross, but you ain't gonna think of such combination, glass noodle with instant noodle.

Well, the conversation kept on quite passively from my side as only she was asking while I answered. Gee, don't you feel intimidated in front of such delicate lady?

Anyway, we finished our food and parted different way. She must be thinking, "I'll spare this guy his virginity!"

9 God Festival

Hi all, it's 9 God Festival lar, eat more vege lar.

Every year, I would visit this temple in Section 17 for my vege meals at nite.

I guess it's good to eat more vege due to my size.

It's just peaceful to sit there after dinner and chit chat with family members, calm and warm.

Also, I didn't kill the dealer tonite even though he delayed my Cloude 9. I guess the dealer should pray more lar coz he's lucky!

Hey guys, remember the power cords shootout? The power cord that I craved for! The Stealth Cloude 9!

I called the dealer today and he assured me that I'm gonna my Cloude 9 tomorrow!

Omigod, after 3 weeks of agony and pain! Countless sleepless nites! Oh yeah, tomorrow would be declared my Cloude 9 Day!

Hey, if I do not get my Cloude 9 tomorrow, I will burn down the shop. Yeah, maybe slit the throat of the dealer and hang him naked outside of the shop while it burns!

Man, I just love when everything is back on track and in control. At least, I am in control of my beloved hobby!

For a 26 with a setup costing as much as a brand new car is definitely a milestone!
