爲了什麽？

吃午餐的時候，一位女同事問我：“生活是爲了什麽？”

我：“...”

女：“工作是爲了什麽？”

我：“...”

女：“那工作是不是爲了生活呢？”

我：“...”

女：“那是不是繼續工作就能繼續活下去呢？”

我：“是呱！” （為自己第一個答案暗暗自喜。）

女：“那麽，活下去不就是只在繼續工作罷了！？”

我：“...” （為自己第一個答案感到汗顔。）

女：“那麽，繼續工作，是不是也涵括了間中的跳槽呢？”

我：“我知道，我知道！跳槽跳槽，最重要不要越跳越糟！”（立地成詩，焉只自喜啊！）

女：“...”

下了決心要到Paya Lebar，怎能講了不算數？

到了Paya Lebar站，只能靠記憶的地圖與方向闖了。還好，令伯的方向感也是不賴的，摸索一下，總算找對了方向。

朝著Paya Lebar Road直闖十五二十分鐘，還好雨季的星島不至於走到汗流浹背。

哈，總算找到了！天啊，停在外邊的不是我的dream car嗎？哪有那麽巧？

進到裏邊，嘩，眼花繚亂，應有盡有，包羅萬象，目不遐給，就是超多選擇！

好，我來看看Suzuki Swift有沒有，上下左右，就是沒有咧。

而與此同時，一位鬼佬也在找車。一邊找，一邊很興奮地微笑。

哈，找到了，其實是放得高，我看不到罷了。由於令伯賺的是馬幣，當然要算一下兌換率吧！

就在算的同時，鬼佬去結賬了，還一邊給錢，一邊對老闆娘說謝謝，因爲賣得實在太便宜了！

我也不以為意，繼續算。剛好，一班阿兵哥也進來了，而一看就看中我的Suzuki Swift。

我按兵不動，但卻拜天拜地他們不要亂來，要麽令伯來個搶的了。

最後，他們總算離開了，不管三七二十一，還算什麽，令伯拿了車，直接結賬去了！

結了賬要離開的時候，外面不知幾時又停了輛Suzuki Swift。真的那麽巧嗎？都是停了我喜歡的車？

在Paya Lebar車站等車的時候，斃，給人設了天仙局！

回想起剛才，一開始的Cooper S，不是讓我熱血沸騰，購買欲暴漲的嗎？

把Swift放在高處，然後讓我找到，不是在把我推向更興奮的情緒嗎？

鬼佬的謝謝與so cheap，不是故意引導我不必多算了嗎？

阿兵哥看中Swift，不是在逼使我失去理智嗎？

而如果我還是不買，而又在外邊見到Swift的話，那難保我不會回頭將它買了吧？！

真是完美的天仙局，我技不如人，認命！

Platinum Silly-ness

The other day, I was around BU area. So I thought, since bank X platinum card can get free parking in 1U, I might as well enjoy this privilege. It seems that there was parking area meant for platinum card holder, around the main entrance as told in the mailer.

So I drove into the line in front of the old wing entrance. There was no sign board at all, I had to wind down the window to ask the guard. And it was raining cats and dogs!

I was directed to the new wing as the so called privileged parking area was located at the new wing. Since when did the main entrance moved to the new wing one?! So I drove towards the new wing and there were many entrances to the lower ground and upper level parking areas.

I drove in front without seeing any sign board for the privileged parking. Again, I had to wind down and asked the guard. The foreign guard pointed me towards the taxi drop off zone while the local guard directed me to drive in to the lower ground car park. Which way lar?!

I had to pick and I picked to back off and drove towards the taxi drop off zone. As I was approaching, only then I could see a little sign board for that privileged parking zone! It was in front of the entrance near FCUK!

So I drove towards it and slotted my card into the machine. OMG, the machine showed RM8! RM8 for an open air parking while it was raining?! Luckily, there was a guard stationed there to escort us with an umbrella. I guess that was what the RM8 for lor! But what if it was not raining leh? Cheaper meh?

Hmmm, so much for the privileged parking with no sign board and open air! The normal parking was just RM1 and fully covered. Even if you drove into the VIP area, it was just another RM1.

In this society of ours, you have to pay more even to look silly.

風平浪靜 = 虛度光陰?!

生活總該是驚濤駭浪的嗎？

前兩年，確實是忙得不可開交，表現頻頻，機會蓬萊。

前幾月，有得忙；但，人事變動，大勢將去，想要設法挽留，卻有心無力啊！

風平浪靜不是福嗎？

但願不只是虛度光陰吧！

人，靜靜地頽廢，好比默默等死。。。

If you watch enough of Animal Planet, you'll soon discover that the way girls choose their mates very much resemble the mating females. Some monkeys would choose based on how loud the males howl. Hence, you see girls go crazy over guys with big mouth. Or the toungues, maybe?!

Peacocks woo the females with colorful back feathers, hence, you see girls drool over guys with branded stuff all over. You see females go over males with the largest territory and guts in defending the territory. Watch more and you'll definitely be surprised by the striking resemblance.

However, the underlying primitive intention of the animals is just to MATE! To BREED! To have SEX and get babies! They don't have to live together and worry about the real world issues, they just shag their heads off.

If you frequent the night spots, you will not fail to notice the popular guys having alot of the same qualities as the alpha males in the animal kingdom. And under the influence of alchohol setting us free from the restrictive norms, it is indeed jungles within the cities!

No doubt, girls have checklists when it comes to guys that they desire. However, how many times have you tried to talk them out of those guys with nothing mentioned in the checklists? I think girls are still very much influenced by the deep down native urge to mate rather and having a healthy relationship that works.

Animal qualities just get them interested and attracted to. They just can't help it! After all, a healthy relationship is the product of evolved mankind. Animals don't give a damn to marriage or relationship, it is all about sex and babies and the sole survival of the species!

Guys, if you wanna get more girls, watch more Animal Planet. Girls, stop watching Animal Planet and get what you wanted, not what you are lustfully attracted to! Unless, what you wanted is SEX!
