The Man in charge

This is the MAN in charge!

You'll be surprised to see many celebrities around, just look behind and see who's behind eating.

Jordan Chan was here, Leo Ku was here and of course, KC was here!

My favorite DJ's favorite spot - TST 新記

The topic is not about these 2 girls you see in the picture, it is the shop behind them.

What is so special about it? For one, it's opened by one of the HK soap series actors. But most importantly, it's my favorite DJ's favorite spot!

This shop is located in 尖沙嘴, walk along Nathan Road, just when you see Miramar Hotel, turn into Kimberly Road. Turn on your first right, walk straight and you could see the shop on your left.

You just have to try their cream cheese instant noodle! They are so delicious, smooth, creamy, tasty, gratifying, tantalizing! You just have to try them!

Will try to get a picture for you guys!

My new racket - Wilson nTour 95

Is this racket cool or what?!

After stopping for 10 years, I decided to return to the courts!

Weeks and weeks were spent on deciding on my new racket to return to the courts. Inititally it was the Prince O3 Red, a very futuristic stick with big grommetless holes for the string. Tried it on court and felt good about the racket.

Then I watched the French Open and Wimbledon, noticed this player by the name of Justine Henin Hardenne. She played with heavy topspin on both wings, and was using single-handed backhand rather than double-handed. Looking at her applying the sheer amount of spin on the balls really took my breath away! Of course she won!

Then came Wimbledon, and saw Lindsay Davenport using the same racket as Henin Hardenne. Lindsay was totally a different player, the strokes, though lack explosiveness, were spot on and consistent. She played a much simpler game with only topspin, no slice no touch. Seeing her playing against Venus was hard for me as she was giving critical match points away! Anyway, she got runner-up for Wimbledon.

So I guess it was good statistics for the racket as the pros are enjoying it big time. Went to the shop and got it without even trying it! By just looking at the racket itself makes me horny, the slim beam, sleak cutting and the sexy orange yell sex appeal all over! I got all hot and added a white overgrip, SEX-Y!

I'm Loving It!

Why do they need to make it hard for us?!

Have you ever been into a difficult situation and was struggling for weeks before coming to a decision? Was it hard for you weighing all the pros and cons? And finally you saw the light and plunge for a decision!

Deciding on giving up my resident status in OZ and staying back in M'sia was really hard for me, but I finally decided to stay. Then my mum called and questioned my decision, saying things like "Are you sure you do not want to go back?", "Don't you wanna do your Masters there?" blah blah blah...

I started to lose my temper and yelled, I was going thru all the struggles within for weeks. As you can imagine, the conversation ended quite unhappily!

I just do not understand why they always wanna make things difficult for us?! Can't I decide for myself and bear the consequnces myself? Or you wanna decide for me and let me hate you for the rest of your life?!

A new author I found - 王文華

This guy is cool when I saw him on TV. He has this charm of your neighbourhood boy, you could get friendly with him quite easily.

I did not realise he was having a seminar about improving your Chinese until he started the seminar. Anyway, you would have thought I feel asleep halfway due to the "dryness" of the topic, but I did not! He was so funny and fluent in presenting his seminar.

As usual, I bought his books and got his autograph.

The Pride of Malaysian Chinese

I guess you do not need me to introduce who she is.

Ha! I have her autograph on the entry form for Miss Chinese!

New author I found - 黎詩彥

A new author I found to be quite interesting. I guess she is the same age as me, that shows a lot in her writtings as she is not as experienced in live yet.

Anyway, she writes too much about love, which I think many have wrong impression upon. If she could write more about some other stuff, I am sure it would make her a better author.

Her latest book was an interesting one where she relates love to investment. Very interesting indeed!

Something she wrote on her autograph for me "心誠則靈", maybe she is hinting me to keep on my faith in look for love?

Perodua MyVi

Just placed an order for Perodua MyVi and waiting for it excitedly. The car should be a nice fit for my needs for its size and engine power. I tested it prior to placing an order.

Car traction is good due to 2 reinforced beams below the cabin floor, felt good grip on the road. When I floored the car, it reved up to 5-7K, power was ample for an auto and 1.3. I order a full spec Olive Green manual as it was only an additional 2-3K for ABS and Airbag.

1st car - Peugeot 405SR (199x - now)
2nd car - Toyota Avanza (2004 - now)
3rd car - Perodua MyVi (2005 - now)

Transportation used most of the time, my Suzuki RG Sport. Hahahaha...

26 and my 3rd car! Is this an achievement?

Toyota Avanza

Finally got my Avanza on the Saturday before Chinese New Year.

She sure is a gem! Very petite and sexy looking on the outside, but very spacious on the inside!

On Sunday, took her to get the glass paper done. Had the Air Cool paper on her and costed me more than a thousand dollars!

No regret though as she is so sophisticated from the outside! The reflective windows are so cool right now!

Then, there comes the chance to see how she would perform. We took her from KL all the way to Kedah. Had a full load in the third row and 4 full-size passengers. No problem with power at all!

Since she's still new, we only drove 80 kmh on her. No speeding at all! Happy ride all the way, no fuss!

For this price range and performance, I seriously urge u guys planning to get a car to give her a try! For those who would complain no matter what, look at the price and what you are getting before passing your judgement on her! Want more, pay more!

PS Audio Xstream Prelude

After having this power cable for a while, I find that PS Audio has got their signature on the sound of my setup. It actually makes the highs a bit dark-ish, although no less sparkling as compared to before the upgrade, the tonalily is different altogether.

I find this in another friend's setup as well, he is using the P300 to supply his dCS Verdi + Purcell + Elgar, and the same characteristic is present in the highs. But then, it makes the sound ever more harmonically richer.

However, the Xstream Statement is too much for pre-amp. It is suitable for my Richard Gray RGPC 400MKII. Since my Sony XA5ES and ARC Classic 60 do not cater for external IEC power cords, I have no say in how the Statement would perform with them. On the other hand, by feeding the RGPC thru the Statement, my setup improves tremendously! The presence factor is to second to none I have heard from my setup!

But never ever plug the Statement to the pre, it kills the sound when I plug it to my ARC LS8! The Prelude is a better match for pre amp! My friend's Meridian 508.24 loves the Statement though!
